Lundin shares jump on copper-zinc discovery
Shares of Lundin Mining Corporation jumped almost 8 percent of Toronto Stock exchange, after company reported discovery of high-grade copper-zinc at its Neves-Corvo mine in Southern Portugal.
The company was quoted as saying:
There are indications from the thickness of the zinc zone, combined with the massive sulphide and copper mineralization found in some drill holes, that the deposit could also host some high-grade copper mineralization.
