Chelyabinsk Zinc to reduce investment post H1 loss

Russia’s Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant has abandoned plans to develop a mine near its main production asset and will cut investments after falling metal prices led to a H1loss.

Troika Dialog, metals analyst Sergei Donskoi, said:

The management has no other option but to cut production in order to preserve cash.
